DSW- Disability Support Worker

Duties and Responsibilities
- Empower participants to reach their NDIS objectives and become self-reliant.
- Provide in-home support with health issues and daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, transport, and budgeting.
- Assist with the delivery of activities to enhance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of those in their care.
- Assisting with personal care, such as daily hygiene
Expectations
- Treat people with disabilities respectfully and uphold their human rights.
- Show empathy, communicate clearly, stay organized, listen actively, and be patient.
- Expected to work with High needs participants.
Skills & Experience
- NO previous experience required.
- Hold the appropriate rights to work in Australia.
- Possess a valid Driving license.
- Possess a roadworthy and registered vehicle and be willing to use it for Work-related activities reimbursed under the award.
